First women's ODI, Canterbury: England 310-3 beat South Africa 85 by 225 runs Atkins became the third England woman to hit a century at Lord's Caroline Atkins and Sarah Taylor put on the highest stand in the history of women's international one-day cricket as England thrashed South Africa. Openers Atkins (145) and Taylor (129) put on 268 as England piled up 310 from their 50 overs in the second ODI against the tourists at Lord's. South Africa collapsed to 85 all out in reply to lose by 235 runs and go 2-0 down in the five-match series. Katherine Brunt took 5-25 and Charlotte Edwards 2-10 as England coasted home.
