Country superstar to play Beach, Boogie & BBQ Fest

By Steve Palisin A country music superstar will headline the third annual Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival on Labor Day weekend. John Michael Montgomery will perform for free at 8 p.m. Aug. 29, at The Market Common, along Farrow Parkway in Myrtle Beach. The younger brother of Eddie Montgomery from the duo Montgomery Gentry is best known for such hits as "Life's a Dance," "I Love the Way You Love Me," "Letters from Home" and "Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident)."
