French gas and electricity price rises pegged

MOST people don't require too many reasons to head to France, but the French government's decision to restrict gas and electricity price rises is another to add to the list. Electricity prices will be pegged at a two per cent rise, while gas prices will be increased by a maximum of five per cent for domestic users. Other measures are set to be announced to help low income families, although no date has been set for any of these changes to be brought in.
