Threat of war in troubled Georgia

Trouble has broken out in a country called Georgia, after Russian tanks have arrived in a part of the country where there's a history of fighting. Some people who live in Georgia say the Russians are invading their country - and they are fighting back. Russia says it's not invading, but that it is just looking after the people who live there. Russia is next to Georgia on the map. There are even worries that a war could break out between the two countries. Things in this part of the world have been complicated for a long time. Georgia and Russia both used to be a part of a massive country called the Soviet Union. But when that broke up back in 1991, they both became individual countries.
