LISBON, Aug 8 (Reuters) - Spanish oil company Repsol (REP.MC: ) denied on Friday that it was negotiating a possible merger with Portugal's Galp (GALP.LS: "We deny it," a Repsol spokesperson said, referring to a report in Portuguese business daily Diario Economico.
