Singh hoping for more gain from pain

Jeev Milka Singh must hope the streak of injured major champions can continue at the US PGA Championship as he embarks on his second round at Oakland Hills on Friday. The Indian shot a two-under-par opening round of 68 on Thursday to take the overnight co-lead alongside Robert Karlsson of Sweden, after a rain-curtailed first day of the final major of the year finished with Open champion Padraig Harrington still in touch at the head of the European challenge.
