Inter president disappointed to miss out on Blues midfielder Massimo Moratti has expressed his disappointment at failing to land Frank Lampard this summer. The Inter Milan president has tracked the Chelsea midfielder for much of the close season, but was forced to accept defeat when it became apparent that the Blues were unwilling to part with the England international. Despite missing out on their top transfer target, Moratti insists that the Serie A champions are in good shape heading into the new season and has ruled out any more new arrivals at Giuseppe Meazza. The Italian chief also believes that Sulley Muntari will prove to be a more than adequate alternative to Lampard.
