Metairie man indicted on five counts of manslaughter

McGraw / Dallas Morning News A Collin County grand jury has indicted a Louisiana man on five counts of manslaughter in the deaths of a Plano family killed in a June car accident. WFAA-TV Authorities said the black SUV ran a red light, leading to the fatal accident. According to police, David Calhoun Jones, 46, of Metairie, La., was driving 98 mph in a 40-mph zone on Legacy Drive June 22 when he ran a red light and struck a minivan carrying a family on its way home from church. Geoffrey Hart, 41, his wife, Laura Christine Hart, 41, and their daughter Rebekah, 12, died at the scene.
