Plymouth manager Paul Sturrock has confirmed the club are set to unveil a new player subject to a medical within the next 48 hours. Boss Sturrock has been so far frustrated in his attempts to bolster his depleted squad in time for the first game of the new season against Wolves on Saturday. The club have been strongly linked with combative QPR and former Leeds midfielder Simon Walton recently but Sturrock refused to clarify the player's identity.
