Lenny Henry - Where You From? Reviewed by Jennifer Bainbridge Tonight is a full house in the ASB theatre in Auckland where we begin with Lenny Henry's video diary of the "crazy" backstage antics before the show - nice idea, could have actually been funny, however unfunny IS the first word that springs to mind. Not a good start. Enter Mr Henry himself in a cheap pink suit - well it looks cheap. Cue obligatory banter with front row audience victims - thank god we're not right in the front row, I'm embarrassed for them. This never goes down terribly well with a kiwi audience, we're just too reserved to pull this off. This does however provide an opportunity for Lenny to poke fun at the kiwi accent - how original.
