Update: Pot Found by Bartlett Firefighters

BARTLETT, TN – Police say pot found by Bartlett Firefighters led investigators to a second house with an apparent marijuana growing operation. According to Bartlett Police, firefighters were called to a home at 2446 East Gemini Cove, Saturday, July 26, 2008, on a reported house fire. When the firefighters arrived on the scene, they noticed smoke coming from the house, according to detectives. Police say firefighters put out a small kitchen fire and then noticed marijuana growing inside the house. Investigators say that several rooms of the house had been modified for growing the pot. Police found 161 marijuana plants inside the home. Police say Efrain Chamizo Valdez was taken into custody at that house.
