Speaking in the Mail on Sunday, Mark Darwin, 32, and his brother Anthony, 29, reveal the torment they felt after their father faked his own death and when their mother tried to cover it up. They also reveal how Anne Darwin begged for forgiveness in a letter written from her prison cell. John Darwin, 57, and his 56-year-old wife were jailed at Teesside Crown Court last week for their "determined, sustained and sophisticated" fraud. He was sentenced to six years and three months while she was given six-and-a-half years.
