BENNETT, Colo. (CBS4) ― The so-called "Spam King" told his family he was going to turn himself in before killing his wife and 3-year-old daughter before taking his own life at their old home near Bennett, the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said. Eddie Davidson also shot his teenage daughter late Thursday morning. She was able to get away and call for help. She is recovering. Authorities had been searching for Davidson, 35, since Sunday, when he and his wife drove away from a minimum-security federal prison in Florence, 90 miles south of Denver. The sheriff's office report released Friday said Davidson left his family at the home of his wife, Amy Hill, in Lakewood on Sunday after escaping.
