Qantas plane in emergency landing as door pops mid-flight

A Qantas plane flying from London to Melbourne was forced to make an ermergency landing at Manila airport after a door "popped" midflight, leaving a hole in the side of the plane. The Boeing 747 carrying 300 passengers and crew plunged 20,000 feet after the faulty door "popped", causing an "explosive" depressurisation. Flight QF30 had just taken off from Hong Kong when the incident happened. As the plane dropped from 30,000 feet to 10,000 feet, oxygen masks dropped from the ceiling. One passenger on flight QF 30, Brendan McClements said there was a sudden "gust of wind" through the plane.
