Four Thousand Yemeni Political Prisoners

There's about three thousand political prisoners in Yemen, "preventative detentions" or arbitrary arrests that relate to the Sa'ada war. (For witness testimony about tortured children, Click Here) Today IRIN reported, "Abdul-Rashid al-Faqih, head of Hiwar Forum, a local non-governmental organization (NGO), said about 3,000 people had been arrested by the authorities for supporting al-Houthi." Supporting meaning, you know, possibly being sympathetic or just in the wrong place at the wrong time or being a Hashimite or a relative....
