Bike thief leaves cycling British opposition leader spinning his wheels

British Conservative Party leader David Cameron is known for flitting to and from Parliament on his mountain bike. But not for the immediate future. Cameron says his cycle has been stolen. The opposition party says Cameron chained the bike to a post while he stopped at a supermarket near his west London home on Wednesday evening. The thief apparently lifted the bike, lock and all, over the top of the post. Cameron has vowed to cut crime if he becomes prime minister. He told the Evening Standard newspaper on Thursday that he had reported the theft to police, but that he wasn't expecting to get it back any time soon.
