Published Date: 24 July 2008 THE Conservative Party is in talks with the Ulster Unionists about joining forces to create a new political movement in Northern Ireland. David Cameron, the Tory leader, revealed that discussion led to a decision last week to set up a working group on the creation of the new movement. The group is expected to discuss a merger or if the parties should work in an alliance, and will report to Mr Cameron and the UUP leader, Sir Reg Empey, in the autumn.
