Delta Connection carrier to cut two Mexico routes (at bizjournals.com)

Atlanta Business Chronicle - by A Delta Connection partner plans to discontinue flights between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and two cities in Mexico starting in August. The routes are the latest victims of the airline's efforts to cut costs because of high fuel prices, about plans to cancel its nonstop flights from Atlanta to Queretaro and Leon/Guanajuato. Shuttle America, a subsidiary of Indianapolis, Ind.-based Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET), will end service between Atlanta and Queretaro Aug. 2. The Atlanta - Leon/Guanajuato route will stop Aug. 18.
