NASA Sends Arkansas Teacher Amber Fenix Back to School

PRESS RELEASE Date Released: Friday, July 18, 2008 Source: Goddard Space Flight Center Amber Fenix, junior high school teacher at North Heights Junior High School in Texarkana, Ark., spent a week of challenge and discovery at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md. Fenix, maiden name Reedy, is a 2002 graduate of the University of Georgia, Athens. The content workshop was designed to provide NASA Explorer School educators an opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the work NASA accomplishes and how to implement that knowledge within their classroom.
