jsaunders@bradenton.herald With the help of a tip to a national investigation center and an age-projection image based on a 12-year-old photograph, a Sarasota boy who disappeared with his mother during a custody dispute in the mid-1990s was found this week living under an assumed name in north-central Alabama, a Sarasota police spokesman said Friday. Zachary Gar Buckley, 4 at the time, was reported missing by his father, Craig Douglas Buckley, in early April of 1996, when Buckley's ex-wife, Lynda, failed to obey a court order to turn the boy over, according to police. The mother and son then disappeared until recently, when a tip came in to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
