It marks independence day for the country, an ideal especially sweet for Keith Stansell, Thomas Howes and Marc Gonsalves who are enjoying their third week of freedom since 2003. Colombian armed forces rescued the men along with former Colombian presidential candidate Ingrid Betancourt and 11 others July 2 from the leftist rebel group Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, known as FARC. "We want to do something to honor them," said Maria Teresa Owens, organizer of the Tampa march.
