A lorry driver came up with a Wallace and Gromit type of excuse when police found crack cocaine and heroin hidden inside his pocket. Jonathan Williams, 33, of Convent Road, Ashford, told officers the drugs stash was there because he had put someone else's trousers on by mistake, a court heard. Williams was given a 12-month prison sentence suspended for a year and ordered to do 150 hours unpaid work for the community at Guildford Crown Court on Friday. Williams had denied two charges of possessing a Class A drug however during an earlier trial jurors had found him guilty. They had heard he was searched in hospital when he was taken there after being attacked at a friend's flat in Peregrine Road, Sunbury, in the early hours of August 14 last year. Medics removed his clothing and a cop seized 528mg of cocaine and 194mg of heroin...
