Salisbury, MD - Ryne Lawson looked like a natural on the mound Tuesday night, but not in his usual role. Making his first start of 2008, and eighth in 35 professional outings, the right-hander shutdown the Delmarva Shorebirds (47-41, 9-10) in the Drive's (48-41, 8-11) 4-1 victory. Tossing five scoreless innings, Lawson allowed just one Shorebirds base-runner to get into scoring position as Wally Crancer laced a one-out triple in the bottom of the fifth. While surrendering a trio of hits and fanning three, Lawson extended his scoreless inning streak to 18.1 innings, a span of seven appearances.
