Fashion forward Long before fashionable “Sex and the City” star Sarah Jessica Parker was a glimmer in her mother’s eye, actress Lynn Fontanne was known for her fashion choices both on stage and off. This season some of those choices will be on display at Ten Chimneys, her former Genesee Depot home. Fontanne’s wardrobe included frocks by some of the most important designers of her day including Edward Molyneux, Pierre Balmain and Valentina. French couturier Mainbocher is said to have spent a week at Ten Chimneys while working on her gowns for “The Great Sebastians.” But not everything in Fontanne’s closet had a label on it.
