Comment: A few home truths from the Tory leader

During a visit to Glasgow East, one of the most socially deprived parts of Britain, David Cameron warns that society has been far too sensitive in failing to judge the behaviour of others as right or wrong, good or bad. The Tory leader attacks the language of ‘moral neutrality’, and dares to say that many of our social problems are ‘the consequences of the choices people make’. Brave words indeed from a party leader who has been often stigmatised for his politically progressive views.
