Colombo, 09 July, (Asiantribune.com): Ananda Wickremasinghe is to be appointed as the Consul General for Los Angeles. He is to succeed Jaliya Wickremasinghe, who is the new Ambassador designate for United States of America. In the meantime, Grace Asirvatham, Director General of SAARC has been appointed as the new Ambassador for Holland. She is a career diplomat who once served in Nepal. Meanwhile, the present Ambassador to Holland Pamela K. Deen is returning back to Colombo after 15 July, after serving her term. She has served in Sri Lanka Embassies in Madras, Paris, Cairo and Kathmandu Furthermore, it is learnt that Sri Lankan High Commissioner to India C R Jaisinghe and Chitranganee Wagiswara, Ambassador to France has already completed their periods and is on extension.
