NEWPORT: Indian Davis Cupper Rohan Bopanna set up a second round clash with top seed Mardy Fish after defeating Kevin Kim 6-3, 6-4 in the Campbell’s Hall of Fame Tennis Championships here on Monday. Both the players struggled in converting the breakpoints and squandered numerous chances. Bopanna could convert just three of 10 while Kim could convert just one of the nine break points that came his way. But Bopanna lived upto his reputation of being a booming server firing 15 aces as against one of Kim. Bopanna, who is ranked 374, has a tough test in the second round as he is up against a player, who is ranked as high as 41 in the ATP ranking charts.
