CLEMENS, Mich. -- The son of a slain macomb County woman said to the self-employed plumber, who has been sentenced to life in prison for fatally stabbing her and dumping her body in an Oakland County lake should never see daylight again. "David Wright—That piece of dirt that he is, should never see the light of day again," said the victim's son, as he read a speech to the courtroom. David James Wright, 38, of Richmond was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Defense attorney Randy Rodnick says Wright plans to appeal. He cites a violation of his client's Miranda rights and other issues. A jury convicted Wright last month of first-degree murder, kidnapping and larceny in the death of 50-year-old Marilou Johnson.
