GB Cycling make selection changes as squad announced for Beijing Olympics

By Brendan Gallagher Great Britain, who won nine gold medals at the World Track championships in Manchester, have nonetheless made a couple of bold changes for their Olympic line-up in Beijing. Lancastrian Steven Burke, just 20 but a major talent, has forced his way into the world record breaking Team Pursuit squad with Steve Cummings, a hardy perennial as 'fifth man' for the last decade dropping out. Gold again? Steve Cummings (l) will aim for double success, but Rob Hayles (s-l) missed selection Not that Cummings will be idle.
