Why is Sir Alex Ferguson remaining so quiet during the Cristiano Ronaldo saga and the attempts of the Portuguese authorities to give their national team manager job to Carlos Queiroz? Clearly Ronaldo is one of his most important players and Queiroz is one of his most important backroom staff. Fergie must be absolutely fuming at people trying to take them away from him and very upset at the prospect of losing them.
