The average human in the West eats about 86,500 meals in his lifetime. That is a lot of cold cereal, pizzas, and TV dinners! Of course, there are those times that we skip breakfast when we are in a hurry, or brush off lunch because we have deadlines to meet. While many health experts agree that fasting one day per month is beneficial for our health, frequently missing meals can have a negative impact on it. We feel weak. We get irritable.
