When Earth Day is celebrated here next spring, students throughout Montgomery County will be treated to hands-on, earth-friendly science lessons aboard Scholastic's The Magic School Bus(TM). The bus will come to Montgomery County thanks to an Environmental Stewardship Grant Entergy Corp. awarded this year to HARC (the Houston Advanced Research Center) in The Woodlands. The nonprofit HARC will bring The Magic School Bus to Montgomery County as part of its effort to develop public education "modules" around regional efforts to clean air and water, and support healthy ecosystems. For Entergy, sponsorship of the event was an excellent fit for its annual Environmental Stewardship Grants. The company gave $10,000 to HARC this year...
