Intel and DreamWorks Animation have formed a strategic alliance aimed at revolutionising 3d filmmaking technology. First fruits of the alliance will be Monsters vs. Aliens, scheduled for release in March 2009. Intel will provide DreamWorks with high performance processing technologies, including future chips with multiple processing cores. Intel software engineers will help to optimise DreamWorks’ applications for these advanced processors.
