The new Serbian cabinet is a coalition of pro-European parties and the Socialist Party of the late president Slobodan Milosevic. The former rivals will attempt to forget the animosities of the past and prepare the country for membership of the European Union. Serbia's President Boris Tadic says the new government will work on reconciling the country with its past and bridging its differences. On Monday, Serbia's parliament approved a coalition cabinet consisting of the pro-European parties and the Socialist Party of Serbia, SPS, of former President Slobodan Milosevic.
