ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill., July 8 (UPI) -- The American Academy of Pediatrics said cholesterol levels should be tested in children with a family history of high cholesterol or heart disease. A report, published in the July issue of Pediatrics, said the panel recommends cholesterol screening for children between the ages of 2 and 10, whose families have a history of obesity, high blood pressure or diabetes.
