LONDON (Reuters) - Retail tycoon Philip Green said on Tuesday he had not bought any shares in Marks and Spencer , following market speculation he might renew his interest in the clothing, homewares and food group. "I haven’t bought any shares, and I don’t own any shares in any retailer," Green, the billionaire owner of department stores chain Bhs and fashion group Arcadia, told Reuters. When asked whether he would consider bidding for Marks and Spencer (M&S) in future, Green said: "I’ve got no comment at all." Green abandoned plans for a 9.1-billion-pound, or 400-pence-a-share, bid for M&S in 2004, after failing to win over the board and enough of the group’s shareholders.
