Published in M2 EquityBites on Tuesday, 08 July 2008 at 10:49 GMT Fortress International Group Inc (Nasdaq: FIGI), which provides solutions for data centres, operations centres, network facilities, server rooms, security operations centres, communications facilities and infrastructure systems, revealed on 7 July that the University of Chicago has awarded the company a contract to upgrade an existing laboratory facility to a data centre ready space. The existing electrical and mechanical infrastructure systems have to be added to and upgraded, to support the data centre operation, in addition to general construction work to secure the facility.
