Jury selection begins in shooting death

Rene Stutzman | Sentinel Staff Writer Jury selection began Monday afternoon for Elkan Chance, a 28-year-old Altamonte Springs man charged with shooting his roommate to death. Mark Chandler was found dead on his bathroom floor March 21, 2007. He had been shot several times in the chest with a .40-caliber weapon. Authorities never found the gun, but Chandler owned a .40-caliber handgun.
