Today's TV: Bonekickers

Bonekickers is what Tony Robinson's Time Team would love to be but so patently isn't. Instead of beardy-weirdies in atrocious knitwear and waterproof trousers getting excited about a bit of muddy jug handle, here we have sexy, muscular archaeologists unearthing important relics and saving the world from historical fallout on a weekly basis. Despite being a load of old tosh in every sense, it's still my pick of the day because if sales of the Da Vinci Code are anything to go by, then this will find a captive audience and, in any case, the dialogue is so daft it's actually way funnier than any BBC1 sitcom.
