Former Beatle Ringo Starr celebrated his 68th birthday in Chicago giving out messages of peace and love - along with dessert. Fans surrounded the former Fab Four drummer as he waited for the clock to strike noon at the Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago. Then Ringo, who was born in Liverpool in the UK, flashed peace signs with both of his hands in the air and yelled: "Twelve o'clock - peace and love!" The excited crowd of about 300 people sang Happy Birthday to the British music legend, who passed around white-iced cupcakes with his wife Barbara Bach, who he has been married to since 1981.
