A PROFESSIONAL footballer has earned a university degree - after studying how to stay fit using a games console. Conall Murtagh, who plays for Wrexham, looked into the benefits of the Nintendo Wii and whether it could help solve the nation's obesity problem. Now Conall, 23, has achieved a 2:1 degree in physiology from Manchester University after juggling his studies with the demands of his team. Nintendo Wii is a video games console where players use a wireless remote control to play on-screen sport. Conall used his friends and colleagues in his research.
