AMR sends information to potential Eagle buyers AMR Corp. provided information in May to potential buyers of American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, according to a letter from the company to the Securities and Exchange Commission. The letter is the first indication that there could be interested buyers. AMR said last year that it plans to sell or spin off Eagle before the end of this year, although it has released few details.
