Salisbury, MD - Runs came as a premium in the series opener Monday night between the Drive (47-41, 7-11) and Delmarva Shorebirds (47-40, 9-9). But in the 11th inning, the Shorebirds took advantage of two Greenville miscues for a 2-1 walk-off victory at Perdue Stadium. Tyler Henson began the inning with a lead off single off reliever Javier Garcia (2-1). After a sacrifice bunt by Wally Crancer moved Henson into scoring position, he advanced to third on a throwing error by Mike Jones. Neither a hit, an error, nor a sacrifice would give the Shorebirds the game-winner. A wild pitch during Pedro Florimon's at bat brought the game to a halt.
