Ross Fisher holed a bunker shot at the last hole to win the European Open by a staggering seven shots and complete a famous weekend for British sport. A glory charge which had begun before either Lewis Hamilton or Laura Robson powered their way into the nation's hearts, ended in spectacular fashion at The London club.
