ZZ Top tours with Brooks & Dunn

By Bob Grossweiner & Jane Cohen Texan rock trio ZZ Top hits the road this summer for 16 shows co-billed with award-winning country duo Brooks & Dunn starting on August 1 in Albuquerque, NM and ending on September 13 in Tinley, IL. Interspaced are seven shows without Brooks & Dunn. ZZ Top has a long-standing relationship with the country music superstars having shared a CMT Crossroads TV special with the duo, who had recorded the band's "Rough Boy" for the 2002 all star country ZZ Top tribute album "Sharp Dressed Men." ZZ Top's Live From Texas in concert DVD debuted at #1 in Billboard's Top Music DVD chart this week and also simultaneously holds the same position on the Canadian Music DVD chart.
