Sen. John McCain paints the Iraq war as the "central front" of the war on terror. He's resisted calls for more troops in Afghanistan, and rejected criticism that Iraq detracts from the Afghanistan war. McCain has also labeled Barack Obama as "naive" for saying he'd strike al Qaida in Pakistan, with or without Pakistani government cooperation. In a speech in Iowa, he would not describe the steps he would take to apprehend Osama bin Laden.
