Staff Reporter ERODE: Former BJP MLA H. Raja has criticised the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre of failing to control inflation and price rise. Addressing media persons here on Sunday, he said the government’s efforts to control price rise had failed and that it was time the government resigned. The government was in “deep slumber” and its prescriptions to control inflation were worse than the disease, he said. On the Indo-U.S. nuclear deal, Mr. Raja said the BJP was all for strategic tie-up with the U.S. but wanted amendment to the deal.
