UK: Terror suspect released on bail after 7 years in jail

Intro: The suspect is allowed to leave his home for only two hours a day, mainly for mosque visits. He is required to wear electronic monitoring devices, and is barred from having guests, access to the Internet or a mobile phone. He is also forbidden to receive guests or to meet with people outside his home. In addition, he can’t brush his teeth with his left hand and he is forbidden to eat pizza with mushrooms. Nine years in jail and no charges? C’mon, people, what about due process, habeus corpus, right to a speedy trial? I know these concepts are ingrained in American jurisprudence , but their roots come from Merrie Olde England.
