David Coulthard hoping for a fitting Silverstone send off at his final British Grand Prix

By Simon Arron When David Coulthard lines up 11th for today's British Grand Prix, it will be his 237th Formula One world championship start – but his last at Silverstone. The Scot will cede his place among motor racing's 20-strong elite at Interlagos, Brazil, in November. Beyond that? He will do some development driving for Red Bull, his present team, he'll take a closer interest in his hotel chain and other business interests and he has been linked to a possible punditry role with the BBC's F1 commentary team in 2009.
