Italian job sets ups French decider

Ireland recorded a 5-2 victory over Italy at the National Stadium in Dublin tonight to set up what should be a thrilling international Round Robin finale with France tomorrow afternoon. Ray Moylett, Jamie Kavanagh and David Joyce were all in top form, with all three boxers earning wide margins of victory. David Barrett also had his hand raised in triumph after he edged out Diego Colantoni by a margin of one point in an exciting middleweight clash. Heavyweight Darren Cruise made it five in a row for Ireland, but Sean Turner was beaten in the final bout of the evening by Samuel Giacomoni.
